Clearform is a small shop for people who have read the microplastics headlines and want to know what to actually do about them.
The category is split between two kinds of stores. One is shrill: endless doom content, no products, no answers. The other is vague: greenwashed labels, the word eco on everything, no rigor behind any of it. Neither helps you decide what to buy on a Tuesday.
We wanted a third thing. Calm, specific, and willing to say when the evidence is thin.
What we do
We find products that reduce the plastic you come into contact with, we check them against four tests, and we publish what we find, including what a product does not do and where it falls short. Then we let you decide.
We are not a manufacturer. We do not have a proprietary formula or a patented anything. What we have is a standard for what gets listed, and the willingness to lose a sale by telling you the truth about a product.
Why the honesty is the business
You can sell a lot of supplements by implying they clean plastic out of your bloodstream. That claim has no human trial behind it, so we do not make it. That costs us the easiest sales pitch in this category.
We think it buys something better. If we are willing to tell you what our own best-selling product has not been proven to do, then you can believe us about everything else on the site.
